Buddha in Heaven!?

If my lord in Heaven Buddha show the way….! I don’t know why but this line from The King and I has been bothering my since I first heard it in the school production. Buddha doesn’t live in heaven! While I’m not a religious expert, I’m pretty sure Buddha lives in a place called Nirvana (which later inspired the band name). But the mystery persists, what exactly was Buddha doing in Heaven? Well, here’s my theory. Maybe the gods of all major religions hold like a yearly summit, where they all gather at one place and discuss….well, godly things. This year, it’s Heaven, maybe next year it’s Nirvana, Valhalla, or the Summerland.

I love walking by and seeing these freaky, freaky miniature dinosaur birds just hanging out. Prints of this image are available here and some info about the opening reception can be found here

Unfortunately, her body had other plans, and she succumbed to sleep last night, waking up amid a pile of papers and #2 pencils this morning. “All the Red Bulls in the world weren’t going to keep her awake,” said Julia Datlow, the cat’s roommate. “Zuko is a cat. They sleep like, what, 16 hours a day? There’s no fighting nature.” Zuko’s first final, in applied string chasing, is Monday morning. Via kittyzuko.
